Alle Whitney is originally from a little town in Marin Country, San Anselmo. Every weekend throughout the winter while Alle was growing up, her and her family would pack their bags and head up to Tahoe to ski. After many years of the long commute, Alle and her family decided it was time to move and in 2009, parked themselves in Tahoe City.

At four years old, Alle learned how to ski, and as she got older developed a strong love for the sport. When she first moved to Tahoe, Alle was in the Mighty Mites program at Squaw Valley, which further influenced her ski fever to grow. At eight yours old, Alle moved on from Mighty Mites and onto the Tahoe League Program, but soon got bored of going through the same icy gates all day, influencing her further to expand her skills. As her thirst for adventure grew for the sport, Alle later on switched to the Big Mountain Team at Squaw where she instantly fell in love. At age 12 she started competing in national and local competitions where she did great, especially considering the was the youngest girl competing.

Currently, Alle is on the Squaw Valley Big Mountain Competition team. Her main coach, Troy Cook is a huge inspiration for her, and having the opportunity to ski with such amazing coaches that she looks up to is an honor for her. "We are so blessed to have our lives filled with people such as Allie Donavon and Eric Deslauriers."

When Alle isn't up on the hill, you can find her playing soccer, volleyball, running track, and occasionally collecting rubber duckies.

This season Alle hopes to give back to her parents, coaches, friends, sponsors, and show her support for everything they have done and sacrificed for her.

"Everyone is so supportive and I feel blessed to be a part of the Granite Chief Team" - Alle Whitney
