Know Before You Go | Avalanche Education Series

Thanks to everyone who came out to Know Before You Go at Granite Chief on Saturday and helped to make it such a success. Our great reps were there showing off all the new hotness in backcountry safety gear, and our wonderful staff were there slinging food and drinks, helping set the tone for a great evening.

A big shout-out to Andy and everyone from the Sierra Avalanche Center for a wonderful presentation. It was both informative and entertaining, not an easy combo. In addition, we had a couple guest speakers from the Nevada County Search & Rescue as well as the Tahoe Backcountry Alliance. All in all it was a great night for avalanche education. Now all that's left to do is pray for snow and to get out there and practice, practice, practice.
