April snowfall is off to a roaring start. It’s the 3rd and so far snow, snow, snow! With more on the way.

Looks like we won’t be worrying about enough snow on Demo Day!!!

Snow conditions KT22 Eagles Nest

Beautiful morning at Squaw Valley! Feet of the fresh stuff and blue sky popping through, but not for long, more snow is predicted into early next week. The line were long yesterday as KT22 opened for the first time this season. Winter, it’s here!

This is the year! IT’S OUR TURN! I know Squaw is only reporting 8 to 10 inches of snow, but someone needs to step outside! There is 24′ inches of epic new snow on Sandy Way. You can bet there is twice that on the upper mountain. It took me an hour to drive down from Sandy to Squaw Valley Rd only to drive 10 mph to Truckee in a whiteout. I will post pictures soon as I can find my Sorels.
